Josh’s passion for craftsmanship began early, taking root in landscaping when he landed his first job as a junior in high school. He worked through the summers of his junior and senior years of high school, earning a foreman role by the time he graduated.  He then completed his Bachelor in Business Management from the prestigious Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.  His dedication led him to work with one of the largest landscaping companies in the capital region, continuing through four years of college and an additional year after.

While perfecting his skills outdoors, Josh also pursued another path—earning his insurance license upon completing college specializing in insuring contractors.  While maintaining a successful insurance business Josh began buying, renovating, and selling homes.   That experience, combined with years of hands-on work, paved the way for the creation of Brown Design and Construction.

Now a residential and commercial construction leader, Josh has built a company known for strength, precision, and quality.  Josh plans to continue to expand Brown Designs while also pursuing his passion of developing his own properties.

Outside of business Josh enjoys every moment with his 3 beautiful daughters and takes great pride in being a girl dad!

Jordan Getting joined the team full-time in 2024. He has been an important part of Brown Designs’s growth and consistency. When Jordan is not on the job he is at home with his 3 kids and getting ready for his 4th on the way!

Jordan attended St. Fischer College and played basketball for four years. After college, he became passionate about home remodeling and joined his friend Josh to provide the best service in the Capital Region.

Zach Moore is the Marketing Manager at Brown Design and Construction. Zach has played a huge part in building out the brand and social media for the business. Zach has experience as an operations manager and leading a team.

Zach has 3 boys and loves spending time with them outside as much as possible.
