About Josh!
Josh’s passion for craftsmanship began early, taking root in landscaping when he landed his first job as a junior in high school. He worked through the summers of his junior and senior years of high school, earning a foreman role by the time he graduated. He then completed his Bachelors in Business Management from the prestigious Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. His dedication led him to work with one of the largest landscaping companies in the capital region, continuing through four years of college and an additional year after.
While perfecting his skills outdoors, Josh also pursued another path—earning his insurance license upon completing college specializing in insuring contractors. While maintaining a successful insurance business Josh began buying, renovating and selling homes. That experience, combined with years of hands-on work, paved the way for the creation of Brown Design and Construction.
Now a leader in residential and commercial construction, Josh has built a company known for strength, precision, and quality. Josh plans to continue to expand Brown Designs while also pursuing his passion of developing his own properties.
Outside of business Josh enjoys every moment with his 3 beautiful daughters and takes great pride in being a girl dad!
